Every book, every volume you see here, has a soul. The soul of the person who wrote it and of those who read it and lived and dreamed with it. Every time a book changes hands, every time someone runs his eyes down its pages, its spirit grows and strengthens. ~The Shadow of the Wind

Teaser Tuesdays!

I don't think it was her intention to do gardening on me then, and I don't know whether she knew that, one by one, our small woman-to-woman talks were helping me pull the ugly from my life, so that beauty, peace, simplicity, and contentment could sprout forth strong and free. We were two females gabbing away. She was the older widow out growing flowers, and I was the mother of three caught up in the weeds.

Later in the week I will have both my review of Sand in my Eyes by Christine Lemmon and a guest post from this fantastic author!

Teaser Tuesdays is a meme hosted by Should be Reading.
