Is it a flop or a fob?

I have to be honest with you, I've been a Dan Brown fan since I discovered Digital Fortress many many years ago and rapidly read through all of his books in short succession. BUT, his new one, The Lost Symbol, is showing a Dan Brown waning. I've read other authors lately that have kept my attention longer and made me want to look further into their claims than what Dan Brown is doing with his Masons in The Lost Symbol. Normally I can finish a novel a day....I've been trying to down this book since it came out and it's quite slow going. Sorry Mr. Brown....I've had a great love affair with you up until now and hope your next book brings me back around!
